Stonehenge…of course, saliva! Now we know.
I wonder if there are 11 stones at Stonehenge?

I’ve posted before about the sign in front of the Baptist church I pass each day as I drive in and out of my neighborhood. Well this week the sign says
“Don’t measure God’s mind by your own.”
After reading that for nearly a week now, I’m still confused as to what message that phrase is trying to convey. In fact, I can think of three things that it could mean, one of which might make some sense.
Can you guess which one I might actually agree with? I think I made it easy enough, but to know why, you’ll have to click the link…it’s kind of a long explanation.

I posted about the upcoming release of this film a while back when I saw the trailer and now that it’s available on DVD, I wanted to see if it would meet my expectations. Unfortunately, the movie is kind of a one trick pony that rides way too long, but buried in there in small bits and pieces is a message that needs to be heard. It really only deserves 2 and a half stars, but since I don’t have any half star images and I’m lazy to create them, it gets 3.
But now onto the review…
I use the word “awesome” on purpose as I’ve heard G W Bush use it way too much lately. After using it to describe the Pope’s speech I’ve been listening for it and he definitely likes that adjective.
But this would be frickin’ awesome.
It’s a short article, but here’s a good line from it.
If elected president, Democratic White House hopeful Barack Obama said one of the first things he wants to do is ensure the constitutionality of all the laws and executive orders passed while Republican President George W. Bush has been in office.
I would be surprised if he could get that done in 100 days…but lets hope he or someone else has the chance.
I wish I had thought of this.
Now if only the people who need to read this actually did and understood it.
